Reflection on my First Semester of Government

My Experience taking Federal Government 

I had previously had a terrible experience in a high school government class. I was terrified that this class was going to be even worse. I was pleasantly surprised. My professor was well-spoken and told many stories. His stories were usually related to his past college experience or his time teaching at a university. His specialty is comparative politics which enhanced my learning experience. I felt like I was learning more than government, like I was learning about college and careers too. I could even compare the experience like talking to an uncle. The work was strenuous yet rewarding. By the time I finished the class, I was surprised to learn that I didn’t know everything about the government prior to entering his classroom. I was deeply changed by my experience and thankful for it.
